New TRAI NCPR Regulations

In response of the recent ammendments to the NCPR Regulations by TRAI, we have starting providing Whitelist based Opt-in Transactional SMS Access to the users.

The features of this system will be:

1. 24 Hours SMS sending for Transactional sms.
2. Alphanumeric (6 character) senderid.
3. SMS Sending to DND Numbers. (Who have opted in)

Under this system the members have to opt-in to receive messages from the user. To opt-in a sms needs to be sent to a sms shortcode. (ACCEPT USERKEYWORD to 57333). The opt-in should be done by all recipients seperately. User can log in to their accounts and create their USERKEYWORD from the My Account Page. Users can also view their whitelist from My Account page.

To enable whitelist based delivery the users need to be shifted on the gateway ‘Txn-Whitelist’. Whitelist system does not work on any other gateway. The links ‘View WhiteList’ & ‘Manage Whitelist Keywords’ would appear on user’s ‘My account’ page only if the user is assigned to ‘Txn-Whitelist’ gateway.

SMS from accounts on Txn-Whitelist gateway would only deliver to those users WhiteLists’s irrespective if the numbers are on DND or not.
